Additional Mind Magic: Extraordinary Tricks to Mystify, Baffle and Entertain Information

Everyone knows that most magic tricks are simply sleight-of-hand. Mental magic, on the other hand, can give the illusion of real paranormal powers. This dazzling collection offers a rich selection of mind-reading, spirit-raising, future-telling illusions, complete with tips on how to present them most effectively. Read palms with amazing accuracy, predict the future with tarot cards, conjure up table-tipping spirits, find psychic connections between people and their possessions, receive uncanny messages from the beyond, and even seem to know what people are thinking. Of course, it's all in fun and all the explanations include the magician's "patter" that goes with each trick--assuring that no matter how spooky the effect, the audience isn't shocked or terrified, but delightfully amazed.

As they lose their entertainment value with each repeat in front of the same people. Mostly cool tricks and mostly easy to understand and learn.I only used a couple so far, but the ones I learned were relatively simple and they worked well. The smarter (or more attentive) folks will start to figure them out.(This is actually the case with any magic and does not take anything away from the tricks themselves). My friends and family were amazed. One caution.fight the temptation to repeat them at what will surely be popular demand by your audience. Overall, I recommend the book. I had a lot of fun with it.
No what I expected. Was looking for a lot more. Not a lot of info.
I do a couple of tricks from the book. It teaches you a little about some of the fundamental aspects of magic, but the setting and situational instruction is kind of corny. I liked the street magic books a lot better.
